REVIEW OF METROPOLITAN EDISON CINPANY'S REQUEST TO EXTEfD THE C0f;PLIANCE DATE FOR ANSI H45.2.9 FOR THREE MILE ISLNO (TMI) UNIT NO. 2 v
The Quality Assurance Branch has reviefred the request (January 25, 1978 letter from J. G. Hertein to S. A. Varga) to extend THI's compliance wf:th ANSI iMS.2.9 to June 1,1979. As a result of our review, we find that adequate information has not been submitted in order to fully evaluate this request. Therefore, additional information is required from Metro-politan Edisori Company describing the specific sections of ANSI N45.2.9 that THI is unable to comply with and the reasons and proposed alternatives with supporting detail. Also TMI should identify the date and revision number of ANSI M45.2.9 they a-e taking exception to.
