SUBCOHI'ITEE Of RADIC8ICI4GICAL EFFEX.7S AND SITE EVALUATIO)4 Notice of Meeting te ACRS SLWittee on Radiobiological Effects and Site Evaluation will hold an open meeting on October 16-17, 1979 in Room 1046, 1717 H St., N.W., Washington, DC 20555 to discuss those portions of the ACRS Annual Report to Congress on the NRC Reactor Safety Research Program that relate to research dealing with radiobiological effects and siting considerations. We Subcomittee will also discuss policy and proposed changes for nuclear facility siting. Notice of this meeting was published Septeder 20 (44 FR 54559).
In accordance with the procedures outlined in the Federal Register on October 4, 1978 (43 FR 45926), oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordines will be permitted only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Subcom-mittee, its cor.sultants, and Staf f.
Persons desiring to rake oral statements should nctify the Designated Federal Employee as far in advance as practicable so that appro-priate arrangements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements.

We Subcomittee may meet in Executive Session, with any of its consultants who may be present, to explore and exchange their preliminary opinions regarding

1 2-At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Sub-ittee will hear presentations by and hold discussions pertinent to this review with representa-tives of the NRC Staff and their censultants.
