Executive Session (Ocen) - The Committee will discuss proposed ACRS comments and recommendations regarding the NRC regulatory process.

Westinghouse Nuclear Steam Supply Systems with Ice Condenser Containment /Seouoyah-McGuire Nuclear Plants (0 pen) -

The Committee will hear and discuss reports from the NRC Staff, and l

the applicants and their consultants and contractors regarding appli-l cation of experience gained at TMI-2 to nuclear plants which make use of Wastinghouse NSSS with ice-condenser containment of the Sequoyah and McGuire types.

Portions of this session will be closed as required to discuss Proprietary Infonnation related to these projects.

Meeting with NRC Staff-(Ocen) - The Commit-tee will hear and discuss a report from members of the NRC Staff regarding i

the basis and criteria for identification of Licensee Event Reports as Abnormal Occurrence Reports.

Executive Session (0 pen) - The Commitcee will discuss its proposed Annual Report to the United States Congress regarding the NRC Safety Research Program. The Committee will also discuss proposed ACRS comments regarding the NRC Systematic Evaluation Program.

1:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M.:

Executive Session'(0 pan) - The Committee will discuss its proposed annual report to the United States Congress re-garding the NRC Safety Research Program.

The Committee will discuss proposed ACRS comments to the NRC re-garding the status of action being taken to evaluate systems interactions at the Zion Nuclear Station and the Indian Point Nuclear Plant Unit 3.

The Committee will discuss its schedule for future activities.

Procedures for the conduct of and participation in ACRS meetings were published in the Federal Register on October 4,1978 (44 FR 45926).

In accordance with these procedures, oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordings will be permitted only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Committee, its con-sultants, and Staff.

Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the ACRS Executive Director as far in advance as practicable so that appropriate arrangements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements. Use of still, motion picture and television cameras during this meeting may be limited to selected portions of the meeting as determined by the Chairman.

Information regarding the time to be set aside for this purpose may be obtained by a telephone call to the ACRS Executive Director (R. F., Fraley) prior to the meeting.
