Dear Mr. Rawl:
This is in regard to your December 17, 1979, letter requesting a technical review of the G. E. Model 100 package based upon the Type B(U) requirements of the 1973 Revised Edition of IAEA Transport Regulations.
Based upon our review of the application submitted to you by General Electric Company on December ll,1979, we have concluded that the package consisting of the Model No. GE 100 packaging and contents in Special Form meet the IAEA requirements for a Type B(U) package. Please note that NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 5926 does not limit the authorized contents to special form material.
