JULY 11, 1979 Enclosed is our transcription of the PEMA tapes that you brought back from your meeting with the Pennsylvania State / local officials in Harrisburg on July 11, together with the tapes themselves. f'either the fiRC contractor nor CRESS could transcribe the tapes, because of the extrencly poor quality.
However, with the very dedicated and capable work of Eileen Telford (almost one week of effort) and 1-1/2 days of fine work by Fred Herr, we have something that does a good job of tracking the meeting and, to a large extent, transcribing the actual words.
It cannot, however, be categorized as a full transcription.
We would appreciate it if you would promptly forward to us any changes or additions that are subsequently made to this transcription and a copy of your final report.
