SUBJECT:
ESSEX CORP. IRNAN FACTORS CONTRACT I
As you know, the Essex Corporation was awarded the human factors support contract.
They were notified this morning and at Mr. Johnston's request, I asked them to come here to an initial meeting at 1300, Thursday, 9 August, to pick up the extensive material which they must review as soon as possible. They have made arrangements to pick up some of it even before then.
We do not anticipate significant discussi,ns regarding the contract effort until next week at which time we hope to nave Messrs. Johnston, Chipman, and Allison back with us.
In the interim I shall coordinate the contacts with Essex and by copy of this memo, invite Messrs. Ornstein and Doyle to the Thursday meeting to assist in answezing any of their questions.
