SUBJECT:
CONFERENCE WITH ESSEX CORPORATION As you may know, we have had two "howgozit" conferences with Essex Corp. personnel thus far with beneficial results.
Be advised that we have agreed to meet weekly with them, nominally at 1400 each Monday.* Accordingly, if any matters arise that require joint NRC/Essex discussion, especially those which entail significant project direction decisions, the Monday sessions would provide the appropriate forum.
Of course this is not expected to inhibit resolution of day to day questions or exchange of information where the activities fall clearly within the project scope and do not have an adverse effect on other SIG efforts.
I shall continue to coordinate the work with Essex on behalf of Gordon Chipman, NRC Authorized Representative for the contract, until advised otherwise.

- The meeting on 27 August will be held at Essex to provide an opportunity to inspect their facilities.
Normally such meetings would be at NRC.
