Dear Fox:
This will confirm my oral request to Ernie Blake for copies of the federal income tax returns of Met Ed, GPU and Penelec for 1977 and 1978, and my agreement with Ernie that (1) the combined returns for those years will be made available to us in your office for inspection, and (2) should we wish to do so, arrangements can be made for us to inspect detailed computer printout schedules of depreciation and tax credits maintained in Parsippany, New Jersey, which form the basis for the summary schedules attached to the returns.
Please let me know if there is any problem with this arrangement.
