g I did not consult with anyche in reaching the decision to send Ft. Herbein to the site at 9:00 A.M. on March 28.

Ibsaver, I recall having had conversations on the situation at UMI prior to 9:00 A.M. with Fbssrs. G. P. Miller (Panager-Nuclear Generation

. Station), G. A. Kunder (Unit Superintendent-Technical Sup (Manager-Oaality Assurance) and R. C. Arnold (GPU Vice President '

G neration).

These conversations ; ray have IIdirectly influenced my decision to send ht. Herb 2in to the site.

Itan 6.i(3) - Tnis item asks for identification of the principal meetings or discussions that led to my decision to have Mr. HerMin and others go to the Lt. Governor's office on or about 2:00 P.M. on March 28.

I was meeting with Blaine Fabian, Panagerhanications Services, when Lt. Governor Scranton called my office to request that a Fat-rd official meet with him at 2:00 P.M. on March 28.

I discussed the Lt. Governor's request with Mr. Fabian, and cerided to send Mr. Her' min to the meeting because of his broad nuclear background and his position with Fht-Ed.
