Pressurizer Ilectrenagnetic Relief Valve

w 3Mi has had experier:e at other sites with corrosion products causing

the pressurizer aiectrenagnetic, relief valve (RC-RV2) cperator lever arn to renain in the ported position after actuation of the relief.
This failure prevented valve closing which caused overpressurization of -he RC*:T and rupture disc actuation. It could also have viciated the fuel ec=pressi:n requirements, RCP-i?SH requirenents, and cool-d: T. rate.
3Mi therefore suggests that RC-RV2 (Pressurizer Ilectrenagnetic relief valve) be inspected periodically for cerrosion products and for free-dc= cf =ovenent with respect to the leve pin and leve hing noting clearances with the sciencid bracket.
3Mi also suggests that the preventative =aintenance program on this valve include the above provision with periodic clean-up as necessary.
