The folicwing report is subedtted in accordance with paragraph 6.7,2.a,2,4 (page 6-11) of the Technical Specifications.
/h 3 Jure M74 at 1810 HRS. a leak was discovered in 3 socket weld on the discharge header of the nattor cco3 ant systen make-up pu ps. The Tcaking tem Jcitit wts located in a 1" 304 stainless steel line which supplies make-up water to the core flood tanks.
At the tine the leek occurred the pricary system was at 3500F end ICO3 psig.
The seeendary sides of the orce through sinam generators were: isolated;.'. ~ " " " '
all reactor coolant pt:=s were stc;rped, the operating r.ake-up p::np was-stopped and the leaking veld was tv2tcted by valve closure. Tat leaking weid Joint was sutrsequently repsind usiny an appropriate weld pecedre and plant operations were rests::ed.
