Dear Mr. Seyfrit:

River Eend Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50 h58 As requested in your letter of December 13, 1979, enclosed are copies of Pittsburgh Testing Laboratory (PTL) Report numbers 800985 and SM986 for fine and coarse aggregates respectively.

Both reports show the five month results of the ASTM C227 mortar bar test being performed using high alkali cement samples.

The five moath results, recorded as an average length change percent, are +0.13 and +0.02 for fine and coarse aggregates respec-tively and are well within the acceptance limits of +0.05 for 3 month and +0.10 for 6 month test durations.

The 6 month (and final) results are scheduled for completion by April 19, 1980. We vill transmit them to you as soon as we receive them.
