OF MARCH 20, 1980 MEETING TO DISCUSS MATTERS RELATED TO 9PERATION OF NORTH ANNA UNIT 2 We met with the Virginia Electric and Power Company's operating supervisors for North Anna Unit 2 on March 20, 1980 in Bethesda, Maryland to discuss matters related to the operation of North Anna Unit 2.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of an operator to the safe operation of a nuclear reactor. A list of attendees is presented in the Enclosure.
The operating supervisors also visited the NRC Emergency Response Center. A detailed discussion on the operation of the response center was held.
Partic-ular emphasis was placed on how information received from operators of nuclear operating plants was handled by the NRC.
