Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Code Case N-2h5 In regards to the use of copper alloy castings manufactured from AS'IM B61-76 and B62-76 materials specifications for use in ASME III Class 3 component installation, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) has concurred with its Architect Engineer, Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation, that this is acceptable via Code Case N-245 dated July 9, 1979, and hereby notifies you of our intent to invoke the provisions of Code Case N-245 Presently, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has hot accepted this code case. However, problems with acceptance are not foreseen since a similar code case (i.e. , Code Case 1810) has been accepted in the past.
