Beers TELEPHONE 617-366-9011 X2215 REPORT MONTH March 1980 SU'BIARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES Highlights  ; Vermont Yankee operated at 96.4% of rated thermal power for the month. Gross electrical generation was 392,664MWH or 97.7% of design electrical capacity. Operating Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of interest for the month: 3/1/80 At the beginning of the reporting perio,d, the plant was operating at 99.8% of rated thermal power. 3/30/80 At 2200 hours a shutdown was cornmenced to repair leaking steam valve V60-13, 3/31/80 At 0126 hours the turbine was taken off the grid.  ! At the end of the reporting period, the plant was shutdown.
