Docket Number 50-289 h-Operating License No. DPR-50 Enclosed is a copy of BAW-1601, " Pilot Operated Relief Valve (PORV)

Monitor Test," which is being submitted in suppor't of our " Report in Res-ponse to NRC Staff Recommended Requirements for Restart of Three Mile Is-land Nuclear Station, Unit 1."

(In particular, Appendix 2A and Supplement 1, Part 2, Response to Question 20).

Pursuant to 10CFR Part 2, Section 2.790(a), we herein request that BAW-1601 be withheld, in its entirety, from public disclosure.

In support of our request, we herein also forward an Affidavit of Mr. James H. Taylor, an employee of Babcock & Wilcox, the originator of BAW-1601.

The Affidavit satisfies the requirements of 10CFR Part 2, Section 2.790(b)(1) in that it addresses, with specificity, the reason upon which we base our request for withholding.
