Dear Mr. Madsen:
The following outlines the action taken in response to the Notice of Violation received as a result of inspections by your personnel in the period December 1 through 28, 1979. The numbering corresponds to that used in the Notice of Violation.
1.
Technical Services Procedure 13 was reviewed with operating personnel and the calculations, and' method of applying those calculations, thoroughly explained.
Further instructions regarding plant operations which are not covered by existing approved procedures will be issued via an Operations Order.
We are in compliance at this time.
2.
(a)
All maintenance personnel have been sent a letter emphasizing cleanliness requirements.
They are required to sign receipt and understanding of this letter.
In addition, the Auxiliary Electric room has been placed on a cleanup schedule and additional refuse containers and approved safety cans for combustible fluids have been made available.
-~We are now in compliance.
(b)
All members of the Electrical crew have received an instructional memo which they are required to acknowledge as understanding.
Also instructions as to recording and performing requirements have been included in PME-3.
