SUMMARY

OF MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 14 AND 15,1980 WITH SOUTH CAROLINA ELECTRIC AND GAS COMPANY On January 14 and 15,1980, we met with representatives of South Carolina Elec-tric and Gas Company (SCE&G) and Gilbert Associates, Inc. at the Summer facility to discuss the physical security plan. The persons attending all or part of the meeting are listed in the Enclosure.

During the course of the meeting, we toured the facility and discussed our con-cerns about various features of the security plan. At the conclusion of the meeting, we discussed the schedule for the balance of the security review. We stated that based on the security site visit and our review of the security plan, a request for information would be issued. We agreed that after SCE&G had reviewed the request-and drafted responses it would be beneficial to have another meeting.
