1 j This letter is to advise you that our A/E has completed an evaluation of the damage described in Reference (b) and has confirmed our preliminary judgment that had the damage to the refueling canal liner and underlying concrete gone

undetected, no adverse effect on the safety of operations i would have resulted. Therefore, we conclude this problem is not reportable under Regulation 10CFR50.55(e) .
