On March 6,1980, the Board and parties to this proceeding were served with a generic " board notification item" regarding a recent turbine failure at the Yankee Rowe nuclear facility. As the Board is aware, the " turbine missile issue" has occupied a substantial amount of hearing time in the captioned pro-ceeding (Tr. 4016-6001). Therefore, the Staff will address the relevance of the Yankee Rowe failure, if any, to the FNP turbine in the next supplement to the Safety Evaluation Report.
