Dear Mr. Reid:

Your letter of January 7,1980 to All Nanpower Reactor Licensees on the subject of Security Plans indicates that a new plan must be submitted by August 22, 1980. Recently I was informed by someone in NMSS that regu-lations about to be published in the Federal Register specify submission by May 21, 1980.

I would greatly appreciate receiving official written notification of the change in the required date of submission.
