Dear Mr. Reid:
Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1, (DB-1).
This application requests a modification in the DB-1 License Condition 2.C. (3)(r) to clarify the utility action required and to alter the information submittal date for the seismic re-evaluation at Davis-Besse.
This amendment request involves a change of Class Il type.
Enclosed is a check for $1,200.00 as requested by 10CFR170.22.
The attachment details the proposed change, its safety evaluation and schedule required to implement the change af ter NRC approval.
