On March 1,1979 I had a telephone conversation with Mr. Michael L.
Karlowicz of the Office of the Assistant Director for Quality Assurance and Operations.
Mr. Karlowicz was reviewing the subject for financial qualifications. He requested a copy of the 10K form for the Babcock & Wilcox Co.
The 1977 10K form is attached. This is the last such form submitted to the Securities and Exchange Com-mission due to its merger into the J. R.14cDermott Co., Inc.
