River Bend Station Units 1 & 2 Docket Hos. 50 h56 and 50 h59 Allicator Bayou Crossinc This letter is to confirm a conversation between Mr. W. J. Reed of Gulf States Utilities and Mr. R. Everett of your staff regarding a six week delay in the submittal of information with respect to the Gulf States Utilities on-going environmental assessment of the culvert crossing over Alligator Bayou.
As a result of additional time required for verification of the hydrology model and the need to explore in more detail various mitigating action alternatives, the additional hydrology study and a mitigating action plan requested by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Audit Report 78-Oh will be submitted by February 1, 1979 Sincerely, L.
