SUBJECT:

REGULATORY GUIDE ON RADIATION SAFETY TRAINING AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS As you know, draft number one of the subject guide was considered at a September 27, 1978 meeting of the ACRS subcommittee on " Radiological Effects and Site Evaluation."

Members of the subcommittee and consultants present:

Members Consultants Dr. Dade W. Moeller, Chairman Mr. Alexander Grendon Dr. Stephen Lawroski Mr. Richard Foster Dr. J. Carson Mark Mr. Jack Healy Dr. K. Z. Morgan Comments and suggestions for improvement of the draft guide made at the meeting and furnished subsequently by various subcommittee members and consultants covered the areas of bioassay procedures, the scope of training, the content of test records and the scope of tests.

Several editorial changes were also suggested.

All of the conments and suggestions have been considered in the preparation of draft number two of the guide.
