VERIFICATION OF ACCEPTED PROPRIETARY AND NON-PROPRIETARY VERSIONS OF REVISION 29 TO NEDE-24011-P GENERAL ELECTRIC STANDARD APPLICATION FOR REACTOR FUEL (GESTAR II), MAIN AND UNITED STATES SUPPLEMENT (EPID L-2019-TOP-0040)
Dear Ms. Catts:
By letter dated October 3, 2019 (Letter No. M190162, Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML19276D427), Global Nuclear Fuel - Americas (GNF-A) submitted the accepted Proprietary and Non-Proprietary versions of Topical Report (TR) NEDE-24011-P, Revision 29, General Electric Standard Application for Reactor Fuel (GESTAR II, Main and United States (U.S.) Supplement), to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. GNF-A has done so in accordance with our request to publish an approved version of this TR, as detailed in the transmittal letter dated September 25, 2019, of the NRC staffs final safety evaluation (SE) (ADAMS Accession No. ML19267A051) of the October 1, 2018, submittal entitled Proposed Administrative Amendment 49 to NEDE-24011-P-A-27, General Electric Standard Application for Reactor Fuel (GESTAR II)
(ADAMS Accession No. ML18274A195).
The NRC staff has completed its review of Revision 29 to NEDE-24011-P, which incorporates
-A version of Amendments 49 to GESTAR II. The NRC staff verified that GNF-A has met the requirements and determined that the submitted -A is acceptable for referencing in licensing applications for nuclear power plants to the extent specified and under the limitations delineated in the TR.
TR NEDE-24011-P, Revision 29, General Electric Standard Application for Reactor Fuel (GESTAR II), Main and US Supplement is now approved for use in future licensing actions as specified in the final SE.
