This is a Category 2 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at designated points identified on the agenda.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to present MP4Bs preliminary list of recommendations and solicit feedback on these recommendations. The list of recommendations are based on MP4Bs strategic assessment results for modernizing the NRCs digital I&C regulatory infrastructure that was conducted in accordance with the SRM to SECY-15-0106 (ADAMS Accession No. ML16056A614) direction and scope. The list of recommendations was developed to improve the digital I&C regulatory infrastructure for operating reactor licensees performing digital modifications and digital I&C vendors submitting I&C platforms for NRC review and approval. These infrastructure improvement recommendations are intended to facilitate licensees and vendors in their demonstration of safety and regulatory compliance and NRC staff in the performance of their safety evaluations in an efficient, effective, and consistent manner.
