This letter is submitted in response to the subject IE Bulletin for the SNUPPS Utilities, Kansas Gas and Electric Company, Union Electric Company, and Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation.

Our investigation concerning the planned use of NAMC0 EA180 switches for the SNUPPS plants is not complete. We will inform the NRC of the results of the investigation and any necessary corrective action in three to four weeks.
