Dear Mr. Denton:
Per Reference (a) Commonwealth Edison Company requested a license amendment change to provide margin whereby protective instrumentation can drift, yet not exceed a limiting safety system setting.
A recent review of this request has indicated that a more detailed study is required by Commonwealth Edison.
Since, this revision will effectively supplant the proposed change outlined in Reference (a),
Commonwealth Edison hereby requests that the amendment request be withdrawn.
Please address any questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
