Dear Mr. Engelken:
This is in response to your letter dated November 2, 1979 which transmitted IE Bulletin No. 79-2 5 concerning potential failure of Westinghouse BFD relays.
There are no Westinghouse Type BFD relays in use in safety related systems at Humboldt Bay Unit No. 3, and we have: no plans to install any of these relays in the future.
