Dear Mr. Engelken:
IE !?ulletin 79-25 requirer, facilities with an operating license to take certain actions regarding Uestinghouse type BFD/::BFD relays used or planned for use in safety-related systems.
An investigation of sa fety-related equipment for usage of these Westing-house relays was conducted in 1976 in connection with IE Circular 76-02.
UFD/NBFD relays in use in safety related equip-At that time there were no ment.
Since the investir,ation was conducted, no new cafety related equip-ment has been put in ';crvice using BFD/NBFD relay:, and there are no plans to install any such equipp;ent in the future, please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
