ENCLOSURE SHIFT MANNING For one-unit operation, each shift crew at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant will include at least two Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) and two Reactor Operators (RO).
One SRO and one RO will be stationed in and restricted to the control room area at all times unless relieved by a similarly qualified operator. One RO will be stationed in the control room to provide relief and operational assistance to the licensed unit operator but will not be restricted to the control room area.
The remaining SRO has overall responsibility for the plant but is not restricted to any specific area.

i OPERA 10R RETRAINING To ensure continuing qualification of reactor operators, TVA conducts annual requalification training.
The employees who had their license examinations in January - March 1979 have been through requalification training, and the annual retraining written exams are currently scheduled so that testing for the last gro'ip of operators will be completed by April 16, 1980. All grading will be completed by April 30, 1980, and those not meeting the passing criteria of a minimum of 80 percent overall and 70 percent in each category will be placed in an accelerated requali-ficiation program.
