On November 14, 1979 Mr. E. D. Groover, QA Site Supervisor at Plant
ogtle, reported to your Mr Ton Conlon that a potential reportable item under 10CFR50.55e existed at Plant Vogtle concernino dewatering and erosion o f cackfill.
Since our interim letter of January 15, 1930, log GM-551, Georgia Pcwer Company has transmitted two letters to the NRC which provided the current status of our program.
One letter, dated February 12, 1980 (G'l-568),
wts directed to Region II; the other, dated February 6,1980 was directed to NPR aith a copy to Region II.
At this tir.e, Georgia Pcwer Company is still unable to estublisn a definite completion date for the final report.
An additional update and, i' possible, a date for the final report will he providad by 'Mrch 1; 19?,0.
