COMMENTS ON SANDIA'S REPORT ON SYSTEMS INTERACTIONS Following are my comments on Sandia's draft report.
In general, I thought that the draft was rather well done.
1.
Section 1.3 - This section is supposed to say what a " systems inter-action" is; it does everything but state to the reader the precise, intended definition.
I think that this is extremely important to the report, since I found while working with other people on inter-actions, that everyone had their own different definition.
2 Section 1.4 - I found the first paragraph of this section confusing, especially the second sentence.
I think some more words are necessary to explain things like " meaningful realm"??

Section 2.2, second paragraph - I found the second paragraph, starting on page 2-5 confusing.
I think I know what Sandia is trying to say from previous discussions with them; however, I think it would be difficult to fcilow for the uninitiated.
Al so " combination" shoul d be pl ural.
4 Section 2.4.2, RHRS used in the atmospheric relief mode - This tree may not be complete.
If there were no component failures, what happens when the refueling water storage tank supply is exhausted?
Is this still " success" with respect to a DHR system?

Section 4.0 - On page 4-2, top of page, I thought that justification was weak, i.e. missiles could be sources without high pressure pipe ruptures.
6 Section 5.1.3, page 5-17, third line of first paragraph - For sake of clarity, add wor- " primary" before system..." control the primary system inventory...."
