NRC STAFF MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME Pursuant to previous agreement among the parties, testimony on CEC Issue 5-2 (containment filtered venting) is to be filed on February 26, 1980. The NRC Staff respectfully requests an extension of one week (until March 4, 1980) for the filing of this testimony. The extension would apply to the testimony of all parties. Since it is not expected that CEC Issue 5-2 will be taken up until the second hearing session (April 8-17,1980), this short delay will not impact the hearing schedule. As indicated in the footnote to its February 21, 1980 response to the Licensee's objection to the prehearing conference ordrr, CEC has no objection to this delay.

Counsel for the Staff has also discussed th;s proposed delay with counsel for the Licensee. Without waiving its objection and motion for reconsideration which are presently pending before the Licensing Board, the Licensee has no objection to the delay requested.

Respectfully submitted, MhsAut.H. G Stephenl. Lewis Counsel for NRC Staff Dated at Bethesda, Maryland this 22nd day of February, 1980.
