50-328 TVA, as a result of the requests made by the NRC/ESSEX review of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant control room, commits to making the requested short-term changes. The short-term changes were defined in the February 14, 1980, telephone conference call between NRC and TVA.

These short-term changes will all be completed by March 21, 1980.

The long-term changes, as defined in the February 14, 1980, telephone call, will be assessed by TVA, and we will respond to these concerns before April 1, 1980.

As part of the TVA control room evaluation program for the Sequoyah and Watts Bar Nuclear Plants, see the TVA response to NUREG 0585 dated December 14, 1979, TVA will obtain con-tractural augmentation of our expertise in control room design and human factors engineering.
