Dear Ellyn:
I enclose Licensee's partial response to the set of Inter-rogatories filed by the Union of Concerned Scientists ("UCS")
on January 4, 1980.
Included in these responses are answers to all UCS interrogatories except Nos. 38, 39, 48, 49, 113-25, 146 and those on UCS Contention No. 16 (Nos. 154-78). Except for the emergency planning interrogatories, answers to the remaining UCS interrogatories will ce provided in the near future.
Since Licensee has objected to UCS Contention No. 16, we have not yet begun working on the interrogatories associated with that con-tention.
With respect to the references cited in Licensee's answers, all documents are in Licensee's Discovery Reading Room or will be placed there shortly.
