Application for certificate of Compliance for CNSI Cask 18-450 (Big Bertha), NRC Docket No. 71-9122.
Gentlemen:
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 71.21 of 10 CFR 71, we are sub-mitting our application requesting authorization to deliver LSA Radio-active Material containing greater than Type A quantities of radioactive material to a carrier for transport in the CNSI Model No.18-450.
We have revised drawing 182-201 to show the location and heat treat of 125,000 PSI required for the cover tiedown bolts and clarification of the weld areas. To accomplish this Sheet 1 of 182-201 was revised (Rev. H) and Sheet 2 of 182-201 was reinstated (Rev. G).
Sheet 2 will show the necessary structural details.
Please replace Sheet 1, Rev. G of Drawing 182-201 with 182-201, Rev. H and add Sheet 2 of Drawing 182-201, Rev. G.
No change to the stress analysis is caused by these revisions.
