This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. C. L. Cain of this office on October 7,1980, of the activities aathorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 43-03227-01 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr.
- ain with Mr. L. G. Koch on October 7,1980.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under the license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations, and the conditions of the license.
The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and represent-ative records, interviews of personnel, indepe.7 dent measurements and observations by the inspector.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were found during the inspec-tion.
Mr. Cain also reviewed the action you had taken with respect to one item of noncompliance observed during our previous inspection, which was conducted May 11,1978.
He verified that the corrective action with respect to this item was implemented as stated in your reply of June 8,1978 to our letter dated May 23, 1978.
