This refers to the telephone discussions between S. R. Lasuk of this office and Mr. Simeon Odesa of your organization on September 26 and October 15, 1980.
The subject of these discussions was the fact that NRC records show that the Byproduct >bterials License identified above has expired and no renewal application has been filed in accordance with Section 30.37 of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 30.
From our discussions with Mr. Odesa we learned that you still possess material which was proc ured under the above license and wish to main-tain the material at your Lancaster facility.
Therefore, you must in-mediately apply for a license to the California Department of Health Services, Radiological Health Section, 520 Capitol Mall, Room 800, Sacramento, California 95814. You may call Mr. Ray Jisha, Radioactive Material Licensing, at 916/323-2754 for assistance in preparing your application.
A copy of the letter forwarding the application to the California licensing section (but not the application) should be sent to Mr. A. B. Davis, Region III, U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, 799 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137, so that ue can close out our files on License No. 13-16577-01 which expired on July 31, 1980.
