FINDINGS RELATED TO THE IMPORT OF 1.591 XIL0 DRAMS HEU AS U038 FROM CANADA - ISNM 80013 On October 1, 1980 Transnuclear Inc., requested a license authorizing the import of 1.591 kilograms of uranium enriched to 88.1%, as U 0, from Canada. 38 This will be a return of out-of-specification material previously supplied to Canada from the U.S. ~ Transportation will be by air and truck in a specifica-tion 64. Type B. drum, USA /0002/BWF. This import will not be inimical to the cornnon defense and security and will not constitute an undue risk to public health and safety and the environment. Shipments of this type occur regularly in the U.S. and these movements have been evaluated previously. Issuance of the license is recocinended. Al- .
