REQUEST FOR LIBRARY TO MAINTAIN COPY OF THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND DRAFT FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT RELATED TO THE WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY, LLCS REQUEST FOR LICENSE RENEWAL FOR ITS COLUMBIA FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY IN HOPKINS, SOUTH CAROLINA (DOCKET NUMBER: 70-1151)

Dear Ms. Maner:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued a draft environmental assessment (EA) and a draft finding of no significant impact (FONSI) related to its review of Westinghouse Electric Company, LLCs (WEC) application to renew its license for the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) in Hopkins, South Carolina. We are reaching out to the Richland Library - Southeast Branch to request its assistance in maintaining reference documents at the library. The documents are associated with the NRCs environmental review of WECs CFFF license renewal application.

This letter transmits a hard copy of the draft EA and draft FONSI and an informational sheet that provides information on how to submit comments on the draft documents. Electronic versions of these documents and the entire application are available in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible via the internet at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html using the ADAMS Accession Numbers listed in the enclosure. In addition, application materials may be accessed at the NRC webpage https://www.nrc.gov/info-finder/fc/westinghouse-fuel-fab-fac-sc-lc.html.

We are kindly requesting that copies of all documents be kept at the library for a period of three (3) months, if possible, for the publics use.
