LIMIT The licensee reported on April 22 the release rate of iodine and particulates l
1 slightly exceeded the Technical (greater than 8-day half-life) f rom Unit Specification limit of 2.4 uCi/sec for 28 hours3.240741e-4 days <br />0.00778 hours <br />4.62963e-5 weeks <br />1.0654e-5 months <br /> on April 15 and 16,1977.
This release was preceeded by a six-day period during which the releave rate was above the reporting level of 0.48 uC1/sec.
The elevated releases have been attributed by the licensee to steam leaks in the reactor water cleanup system and in one of the secondary atens licenses decided on April 22 to reduce power sufficiently to recove the generators.
