This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. C. T. Oberg of this office on August 20, 1980, of activities at Stewart and Walker, Inc.
authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 22-18170-01 and to the discussion of our findings with you at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observatione, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection.
The inspector noted during the inspection that all individuals who were authorized to use the Soiltest, Inc., Model NIC-5DT, Nuclear Moisture Density Meter in accordance with the provisions of your license have terminated employment.
Until such time ; additional personnel are trained as authorized users and are incorporated into your license by amendment, the Moisture Density Meter must be kept in locked storage.
