Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-334 Delayed Submittal of Revised In-Service Testing Program Gentlemen:

A meeting was conducted at Beaver Valley on December 12,13 and 14, 1979, for the purpose of reviewing the previously submitted In-Service Test Program as it relates to ASME Code Section XI requirements. As a result of that meeting, Duquesne Light agreed to submit a revised IST Program, incorporating comments from the meeting, by January 30, 1980.

Due to unforeseen personnel requirements necessary to support the current refueling and extensive plant modifications outage, the revised program will not be available on January 30, 1980. It is requested that the submittal date be extended 45 days until March 14, 1980, at which time, the revised IST Program will be completed.

Very truly yours, C. N. Dunn Vice President, Operations P UF' .,o p c:c , 0 b' t
