Dear Mr. Abrams:
Your letter te Robert Ryan on the "Information Report on State Legislation" has been referred to me for reply. Your coninents on the timeliness of our legislative reporting are well taken.
We have long realized that the reporting of bills was not current.
We plan to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in the Coninerce Business Daily, asking for proposals on a statement of work, which will describe our State legislative reporting needs beginning with the Legislative sessions in January 1981.
At this time we have no grant or contract arrangement for a demonstration of legislative reporting in the Northeast.
I'll send you a copy of the RFP when it is published.
