Dear Mr. Dawson:
As we had discussed briefly during your visit of October 17, 1979, the staff finds it necessary to request additional information relative to the availability of funds for decommissioning.
In Appendix 7 of the Consolidated Safety Analysis Report, you provide a Decommissioning Plan, which was originally submi'ted under separate cover in December of 1978. This Plan includes an estimate of the costs of implementing such a plan in 1978 dollars. What provisions has General Electric made or what basis does General Electric have for assurance that the necessary funds will be available when needed?
Additienally, provide the operating expenses for the Morris Facility on an annual basis for the years 1973--1978.
