Docket No. 70-2623 Amendment to Materials License SNM-1773 for Oconee Nuclear Station Spent Fuel Transportation and Storage at McGuire Nuclear Station Gentlemen:
On October 31, 1979, the Board issued an Order responding to a Petition of the Carolina Environmental Study Group.
On page 2 of that Order it is noted "that replies to questions about criticality and radioactive emissions to the public were in the nature of summary statements -(Tr. 4439-47)."
You then requested that the parties supplement these answers with numerical analyses and include information on radioactive exposure of operating employees.
Applicant has prepared a response for the Board :;hich is attached in the form of an Affidavit of S.
B. Hager, Chief Engineer, Civil and Environmental Division, Design Engineering Department, Duke Power Company, who has previously testified in this proceeding.
