Dear Mr. Seyfrit:

RIVER BEND STATICN UNIT 1 DOCKET NO. 50-458 As requested in your letter of December 13, 1979, enclosed are copies of Pittsburgh Testing Laboratory (PrL) Report numbers 800985 and 800986 for fine and coarse aggregates resp e lvely. Both reports show the two-month results of the ASTM G-227 nortar bar test being performed using low alkali (job canent) and Bayou Sara aggregates being used on the River Bend Project.

The 60-day results, reccrded as an average length change percent, are

+0.02 and +0.01 for fine ard coarse aggregates respectively and are well within the acceptance linits of +0.05 for 3-nonth and +0.1 for 6-nonth test durations.

The 3-nonth results are scheduled to be cmpleted on January 14, 1980.

We will transmit those results to you as soon as we receive then.
