A i res:.1t of our review of your LEID model and ID history, we have det. iced to grant you a limicea exemption from calculating LEID for each physical inventory. Accordingly, errective immediately, we are adding License Condition 5.2 to Amendment io. MPP-1 to your License tio. Stim-23, which shall read as follows:

5.2 tiotwithstanding the requirement of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(4)(i) to calculate the limit of error for inventory differences (LEID), the licensee is not requirea to calculate LEID, provided the ID, excluding that part attributable to scrap recovery, is less than 50 grams of U-235.

We nave determined that granting this relief will not endanger the common defense and security and tnat it is otherwise in the public interest.
